Meet Yak

In order to meet someone online you usually read their social media profiles, resume or portfolio. Yak proposes an alternative solution to decide who you want to meetup, work, go out, play soccer or do anything with: video. After signing up on the platform you record a short video introducing yourself. Then you can scroll through the people around you introducing themselves and make the decision on whether you want to meet with them. The vision for this project is that instead of scrolling through pictures or text to choose one person over another, you get a personal feed of people with like interests introducing themselves.
